i leave my participles dangling
out from under my skirt
my black eyed subjects and predicates
rarely agree
my tenses change more frequently
than a juarez whore changes her panties
my titles leave behind tan lines
pushing punctuation off
the baluarte bridge
wearing a lacey vest of cemented articles
by the tip of my pen
i compose with my tongue
not my english degree
tear down the automatons
drag them across the border
fuck them while their dissertations
are still wearing prom dresses
whispering
those who can’t
teach
this is my requiem for snobbery
women should dance
to music in the street
to have a reason to touch their titties

Quite right!
The most provocative grammar lesson that I’ve ever seen – and a message to match. Well executed.
Oh dear, I think I need to touch themself.
That sort of behavior is encouraged around here.
Impressed again. Your work is like walking out of the fog. Fresh, eye-opening, and fun to read.
That’s so cool. Thank you, Ben. I like that so much.
More than that…
