sweetly, simply

ice blue shimmer

swaddling a snowy city

morning is being delivered

at the library’s

side door

i crosswalk dash

through breathy billows

from my rose red lips

a parliament of cellos

cooing ave maria to a piano in my mind

focused on the coming coffee and time clock

when the man walking passed me

lifts my trance by smiling

sweetly, simply he says,

plumes of silk

how i adore rising to wrap

a flowing robe about my

nakedness sunlit

atop a stairwell

plumes of silk following

in descent

at the thought of touching him

once again

there are few things

more divinely

my thursday morning
slippered feet
made their way
down the driveway
of the doe
eating flower bed blooms
in my neighbor’s front yard

i froze
coffee in hand
stooping for the paper
when my eyes found the majestic deer
so robust and noble

standing slowly
stifling a giggle
as she seemed to know which plants
were the priciest
and had taken the longest to cultivate

her brazen way of saying
your quaint little cul-de-sac
is in my field and stream, fuckers

she allowed me to watch her
because she knew we were both just girls
trying to find our footing on another morning
our babies needed to be fed

there is a light within females of every species
the wonder of creation
giving oceans inside us

it makes me want to tattoo my stretch marks
to my fertility statue frame
to make my warrior scars more visible

after all
i am a red indian

piss shiver

perverse as you are
and full of gastronomic fascination
you could never accept
that i enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning
whilst reading in the bathroom

such bad form
so disgusting you would say

now here i sit smiling ironically
sipping french roast
upon my white throne’s full glory
ignoring victorian pornography

lustfully remembering the day
i stood behind you above the waterfall
in grace lord park
my arms wrapped around your chest
chin resting on your shoulder
leaning into the fence

hind sight mulling
you would have looked so lovely
wearing a chloroform soaked rag

before i saw
the video of you online
a chubby white man awkwardly wearing
gold platform stripper heels
squatting over the biggest suction cup dildo
i’ve ever seen
jauntily fucking yourself in the ass
taking it into your black whole like a champ
and all i could think
is now i know
exactly what i want on my christmas cards

i didn’t know to kill you then
so i must do it with my pen

ah the thought warms me
into a glorious piss shiver
